The sun's rays are finally tamed
Over the seasons, our solar control films offer many advantages.
Indeed, in addition to allowing you to control the light as you wish, they provide thermal optimization: better insulation in winter and a significant reduction in solar heat in summer. So, when the heating or cooling is used less, it's good news for your wallet and the environment ...
Avoid excessive heat from exposing windows to the sun and protect all objects from UV discoloration.
Thanks to our wide range, the ideal film is always at hand. It is suitable for all building architectures, both indoors and outdoors, without ever losing brightness, of course.

SOLAR SCREEN® Multi alloy window films are technically highly advanced. Multi alloy films are carefully designed to act selectively on the spectrum of solar light. Characterised by a subtle tint and absolute transparency, these advanced films improve ambient living and working conditions by providing insulation from solar heat gain (Spectra 80 C film), whilst continuing to allow up to 70 % of visible light to pass through (Spectra 30 C film). Furthermore, these films will absorb 99.5% of all UV rays and reflect up to 90% of infrared radiation (780 to 2,500nm) in the case of the Celsius 70 Cristal model.
Now more than ever before, energy savings, insulation and reduction of CO2 emissions are items at the top of every agenda.
With the help of an infrared camera, SOLAR SCREEN® has been able to determine the degree of heat loss through glass. As a result it has also observed the significant insulation properties of its films - the SOLAR 65 C and 80 C insulating film models in particular - as well as of its shade film blinds. The latter contain a high concentration of metallic particles (to reflect heat inwardly) and do not make contact with the cold glass.
SOLAR SCREEN® has developed a range of films that can be applied to synthetic materials such as polycarbonate and Plexiglas sheeting.
They ensure protection of different types including: solar, anti-UV, scratch-resistance, solar glare reduction and privacy.
Exposure to the visible, ultraviolet and infrared rays originating from the Sun and the Moon can cause many coloured items or furnishings to fade or deteriorate. Carefully applied to your windows, our range of anti-UV solar films are specially designed to filter out harmful UV rays, as well as a considerable amount of infrared and visible light.
